Direct Support Professional

Role and Responsibilities

We are looking for compassionate and reliable people to add to our team. We provide inclusive community engagement through helping our community members in need of all ages. Our Direct Support Professionals will have responsibilities pertaining to the people we serve; this list of responsibilities includes but is not limited to. 

  • Effectively use a smartphone and apps that we use to aid in the work we do
  • Teach and/or assist in daily tasks in the person’s home: 
    • General Cleaning – Light Housekeeping
    • Meal Prep: Purchasing and prepping groceries
    • Budgeting
    • Appointment Tracking and Time management
  • Accompany the People we Serve to their Events and Appointments
    • Support the individuals’ choices and interests
  • Personal Schedule Management; working with the People we serve and their Representatives to ensure they get the care in a timely manner.
  • Effective Communication with the Management Team as well as the Care Team
  • Participate in the creation and implementation of Care/Support Plans
  • Ensure that documents are current and compliant with current State and Federal Laws

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid Driver’s License and Insurance
  • Clear Background Check & Fingerprinting
  • CPR/AED/First-Aid Certification **

Redbird Transportation Driver

Role and Responsibilities

We are looking for a Driver to transport clients in a comfortable, safe, and timely manner. Driver responsibilities include arranging regular cleaning and maintenance services for the vehicle, planning each route based on road and traffic conditions, and managing payments. Ultimately, you will help us increase customer satisfaction, making sure clients depend on us for their transportation needs. To be considered for this role, you should have a valid driver’s license, the ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening, and a clean driving record with no traffic violations.

  • Effectively use a smartphone and apps that we use to aid in the work we do
  • Map out driving routes ahead of time to determine the most expedient trip
  • Pick up clients from the place and at the time they’ve requested
  • Collect payments and issue receipts
  • Assist clients with loading and unloading their luggage
  • Assist passengers with wheelchair or mobility aids.
  • Listen to traffic and weather reports to stay up-to-date on road conditions
  • Adjust the route to avoid heavy traffic or road constructions, as needed
  • Answer clients’ questions about the area and local places of interest
  • Ensure the car seats are clean and comfortable for all riders

Qualifications and Education Requirements
